View Full Version : Prayers, please!

I have mentioned twice in the Thankful Thursdays posts about my sweet friend's grand-daughter. I have received permission to tell you her name to aid in prayers. Whitnee is fifteen and has had 3 surgeries in 2 weeks on her digestive tract. She has been having issues for 18 months with intense pains, multiple times a day for most of this time. She hasn't been able to eat nor drink by mouth for weeks, I think it has been over a month now. She did have a pic line and now has a feeding tube for nourishment. Every time the doctors think things are improving, we have a major set back again. This beautiful girl is needing prayers for a healing. The doctors and family are nearing the end of their ropes on ideas and plans for her future, so wisdom is greatly needed. I have never seen such a loving, Christian family or teen, but the pain and uncertainty is hard to handle. Please add Whitnee to your prayers. My heart, like many that know her and her family, is just crushed.

Praying for this precious young lady. Wisdom, healing, peace and comfort.
Hospitals are a hard place to be whether family of patient. I truly believe that no one knows the individual like the parent. I believe that my oldest son is still on this earth because I wouldn't accept a pat answer that was being given 3 yrs ago. Finally a Dr came in that really LISTENED to what I was saying and the one issue was taken care of. Encourage the parents to follow their heart. If they are hearing things that don't add up be kindly persistent until it is resolved.
