Got home about 5 pm after dropping of my ton of new scripts. I am now on a nebulizer 4 X a day, which is fine with me. On the border with needing home oxygen, but still coughing up gunk. So between the tester and me, she opted to recommend that I didn't really need it at this point, because, I don't have stairs to climb, and since I was still fighting the infection there would be a good chance that I would breathe better on my own once that was cleared up. They changed my antibiotic, and I am on nicotine patch and wellbutrin to help me with my 'cravings'. Haven't had one since Tues evening, but was in hospital. Now that I a home it is a little more difficult. But still fighting it.
The hardest thing for me will be the steroids in the inhalers (not as bad as prednisone, and talked them out of albuterol, subbing zoponex instead,) but I am on a 12 day step down prednisone regimen again. That will be my biggest challenge. I am determined though, and with the help of family and friends (that means you all too) I will get past this.
Will have the biopsy next week. Where the nodule is located, they will go in through my back to get the best biopsy result. There is a bigger chance of collapsing my lung, than doing it endoscopically, but will they will get a better biopsy. So the chances of me being back in the hospital is pretty good. Thank you all for the prayers, and keep em coming. This JUST HAS TO BE OK!!!!! Love and hugs to all of you.
