I married my sweetheart. He was a Navy Sailor boy stationed at Great Lakes. We Eloped. So much fun to plan and execute a private wedding. But, we did. I managed to still have a dress, shoes, flowers, headpiece. He wore a white suit... Not his Navy Uniform! LOL. We flew off and spent a week at a B&B up by Chicago. It's been a real adventure too... Kids, moving every 3 - 4 years depending on Sea Duty or Shore Duty. Kids born here, kids born there. We've owned 3 homes and too many cars to mention. LOL... I mean when you consider all the cars we've bought for the kids to drive.
Well, today it's 27 years... and I am headed to get ready to meet him on the Plaza for dinner at Ruth Chris Steak house. It will be a nice reprieve from the hectic two weeks we have had with our basement. LOL. I wanted to share this here, cause you all have become part of my daily life... and it's only natural to want to tell your friends what you are celebrating. So there you have it...
