http://smu.gs/16UFHtg Here you go, if you are interested in seeing our vacation photos! (Now, understand I RARELY take photos of US... it's usually the broken, decrepit, peeling and rusting things that catch my eye...

Enjoy! The other part of the vacation will be up in a few days...

Beautiful :) That city just has so much character! I'd love to visit, but for now I have to stick to pictures and my New Orleans cook book from Lonna lol

Great pics! Thanks for sharing! I really like the clouds in some of them - they frame the pics so well - they almost appear to be moving. I enjoyed my visit to New Orleans tonight. Lisa

Awwwww, Trish I've never been to New Orleans but I almost feel like I've been there now!
I just spent the last 40 minutes looking at all your shots - They are A MAZ ING!!!! Really love when you would show the same shot 2 or 3 different ways - and fresh new green things growing out of cement and broken plaster! Really enjoyed looking at all of them - can just imagine sitting down with you talking about them - it would take hours!! Awesome just Awesome!

Great photos, I'll show them to DH later. He should have a great photo shot when we visit our granddaughter and her DH who recently moved to New Orleans. Peeling paint and rusty stuff are a fave of his.

Trish, you have such a great eye. I feel like I have been there - what a wonderful plantation. I have always admired landscape quilts, but have not attempted one - some of your pictures of the trees would be awesome. Maybe someday I will attempt landscape quilts... Glad you had so much fun on your vacation! Thanks for sharing :) Lisa

What great photos - I love looking at people holiday snaps! Some of those buildings are fabulous and I love the New Orleans ones too. With all that rain no wonder everything looks so green too. Thanks for sharing.
