I looked long and hard at that jelly roll, but opted to pass because the BOM I am in right now is black and white. I have chosen an accent color of a blue, that is a blender fabric, that I love. The quilt will probably be going to our oldest daughter and her husband....at least that is the plan for now.

I recently made the Boxed Squares quilt from Mary Quilts. I used red as an accent and it turned out really nice. In fact so nice that I had a hard time giving it to the intended recipients. (But I did.) I was really tempted to get this jelly roll to make one for myself but decided to pass as I have way to many projects and intended projects waiting for me.

I love black and white with any one bright color to accent. Red, blue a nice yellow or even a green would look beautiful.

You could do a "Summer in the Park" quilt, it would appear as an opposite quilt block.

I've seen black and white fan (Dresden) quilts that are awesome.

Also... "Three Guys" quilt that Jenny tuts would be cool too. But, the most awesome quilt I've seen on here done all in black and whites is a "Photo" quilt. It was just fabulous.

Theres always the Jelly Roll Race!

I googled "black and white quilt images" and found a bunch of Eye candy. Maybe this will give you some ideas. Hyperlink is above.

I received the layer cake as a Mother's Day gift and the fabric is stunning!
I fell in love after seeing this fabric featured in APR/MAY edition of Quilt Magazine.
