Have just heard that my friend and teacher Rachelle Denneny has won the Australian National Quilting Award, sponsored by Bernina. She has taught me FMQ, Applique and Quilt -as-you-go and next month I've signed up for 'quilt-a-month' with her at my new local shop (Widebacks)

I was going to say, either that quilt is HUGE or that woman is really tiny! It's gorgeous and looks like a lot of work.

My question is HOW??? It's gorgeous. I can't possibly imagine how she did it on a conventional machine. It's huge! Astounding!!!
