After a grim and frustrating Thursday and Friday yesterday was great.

Spent time looking at quilts, sewing, art etc at the Leafy Seadragon Festival in Yankalilla. Dull day but warm and dry. The Inman valley looked stunning even with grey skies and sun scorched earth. The road is a bit narrow and stepp to take photos - I'll try another time.

Here are some from the Festival

Just spent this morning in the kitchen cooking for the freezer. 4 Beef teryaki, 6 butter chicken, and 8 fish and potato pies (with cheese and parsley sauce)

Thanks for sharing. There were certainly many beautiful quilts on display and I have to agree with Sandy, the farm animal one was the cutest. Followed by the one with vases of flowers with pink and white polka dot frames around the blocks. (Not sure what its called).:)

Thanks for sharing! What a great quilt show - such variety! For the cooking, I want recipes and an idea of what you are doing? Sounds like something I should do - I hate deciding "what's for dinner"....

I agree..I'm home all day but being able to prepare dinners ahead would give me more sewing time! Please share everything...recipes and what you do exactly. I have a food saver, do you do that?
