When I'm not sewing/quilting, petting the kids (cats), etc.. I love playing games on Pogo!

One of my "friends" has a sister in the ICU and has been for weeks, so I'm prying info out to find out where, what hospital etc... Should I do a Quilt4Kids type request or ???

I'm sure I can help make this... well not "sure" as I'm going through some sleeping wow's right now, so my awake time has shortened to 4-6 hours a day LOL

Will gather more info and see if someone in the vicinity came help me get this sick gal in ICU a quilt?

Thanks

Debbie

you might need to wait because some hospitals limit what can be brought to people in ICU because of the contamination factor. I hope not.

Debbie:

What about emailing Blondie? Isn't this something the COC does. Caring for our friends and our friends loved ones as well? I may be wrong but I think I read it in the group threads. It would be in the original threads.

I hope you can find a way to get her a quilt.
I love Pogo too! I love the hidden object puzzles. But play other things as well. Right now I am not a member of Club Pogo but I was a few years ago. I am Mamagator54 on there. What is your screen name? Maybe I'll see you online there sometime. In fact I have Pogo opened in another window now and was playing Poppit. I think I am going to go look for a word game.. And give my brain a workout.

How old is she? What is wrong? I am sure that Blondie would send a COC quilt for her.

Thanks all!!

Here's the info so far...

My Sister Miriam is in Torrance Memorial Hospital.

Praise God she is getting better thanks to all of the fervent and faith filled prayers of dear friends like you, and the FAITHFULNESS OF ALMIGHTY GOD! I thank Our Heavenly Father for JESUS! For HE has worked a miracle in my sister.
The head specialist told me yesterday that people don't usually survive the illness and complications that she's had. The kidney doctor and a pulmonary doctor told me that my sister is a miracle! She had a 93+ mortality rate, BUT GOD SAID DIFFERENTLY!!! Hallelujah! He is worthy to be praised!

Thanks again, for caring and standing with me!
Joy

I had not thought about ICU being "Isolated" but true. I am only Guessing Torrance sounds like California??

Ok I'll pop in to COC and post a request. Joy and her sister Miriam are being so blessed with gods healing, yet I know Joy is usually in the hospital playing Pogo on her computer during the times she can't be visiting and sitting with her sister!!!

Just broke my heart and we began a big prayer chain for her.

Gotta snoop for MORE info like last name etc... :-) Cuz I care

Ohh Donna -- I'm CranberrySaucy and a Pogo member -- Scrabble is great (even against the Robots), Word Jong is like Majong with word tiles :-) Hope to see you there!
