    Love At (MSQC Forum) Home

    There is beauty all around, when there's love at home.
    There is joy in every sound, when there's love at home.
    Peace and plenty here abide
    Smiling sweet on every side
    Time doth softly sweetly glide
    when there's love at home

    In the quilter's cottage there is joy, when there's love at home
    Hate and envy ne'er annoy when there's love at home
    Roses bloom beneath our feet
    All the earth's a garden sweet
    Making life a bliss complete
    when there's love at home

    Kindly heaven smiles above, when there's love at home
    All the world is filled with love, when there's love at home
    Sweeter sings the brooklet by
    Brighter beams the azure sky
    Oh! There's One who smiles on high
    when there's love at home
    If you can't see it from 50 yards away on a galloping horse, it doesn't matter.

    So true. I grew up in grouchy, bicker house. I now live in happy house. The difference is a miracle.

          I know just what you mean Lisapac - The difference is enormous. I try not to let those "old" feelings rise when things get a little difficult as it does in all families because it is not the same situation as when I was growing up. Thanks for that lovely poem Meli. Made me smile!

            Thank you, but I can't take the credit. It's in my church's hymn book and has always been a favorite in our family. In fact, back in 1970 my mom sang it at an audition for a community production of "Hello, Dolly!" She was one of the extras
