I am unable to handle a garden these days, so we turned it into an orchard. You can see more pictures in my album.

You may not get anything (or much) from it this year, but next year they should be big enough to bear fruit. My dad was never much into gardening, but he did like his fruit trees. He used to make his own plum jam from his 2 little trees. He just ate the peaches.

Cool! My mom liked a very small garden but we LOVED fruit trees! Peaches do so well in hot Arizona (and I bet Texas too)

Thought of you just the other day -- Will find the link for a lady who died and her husband had the "horror" of seeing her stash and garage selling it hehehehehe Truly a Beautiful Stash from a woman that adored Fabric and quilting :-)

So If your husbands ever complain about your Stash? You NEED this picture :-)

I planted a dwarf plum tree our first spring here. Last fall we planted 8 more dwarf fruit trees. I know we will have to wait a few years for the fruit but it will be so worth it. I love your orchard!

Thanks for the link! Yep, she won. I can't believe how much she had.

I am a garden hoarder. I love flowers so I garden in the spring, summer and early fall and then head indoors to do other projects.
I can appreciate your wanting fruit trees and I tried once but they all died so I stick to flowers and vegetables :-).
Enjoy the fruits of your labor.
