Well Friends, this afternoon I did a few errands, and guess what they said on the news:

THE SPRING TIME CHANGE COSTS AMERICA HALF A BILLION DOLLARS

The news report was a summary of three studies which showed that right after the time change:
- There is lost productivity by workers who "play" on their computers instead of work
- There are more workplace accidents
- There is a spike in the number of heart attacks

YIKES!

So those of us who struggle with this "springing forward" now have science behind us! Studies show this really *isn't* good for us, not one bit.

I, for one, am relieved.

I am relieved and yet I am tired of all the money wasted on studies that the answer they find is common since. Of course the time change isn't good for people and is a one to 3 week adjustment for people. Anyone who has tried to change a little ones sleep schedule could tell you that.

See the thought of the time change has made me grumpy!

Dee, that is so funny! Not only is the sentiment spot on, but it is the perfect metaphor for quilters! ROFLOL!

Wise old Indian! There's a time change over here in the UK but I don't remember when it is. It doesn't coincide with the states.
