Hi ladies, I'm on a "military wives of faith" site and one of our girls posted that her fiance came under fire today and there was an explosion, she has missed calls from him today and is worried sick. Please pray for him and those involved today. TIA.

Oh my gosh, that sent shivers down my spine. The numerous times I felt that way when my DH was in Iraq both times. The waiting and listening to the rumor mill (which I learned pretty quickly NOT to do during his first 15 month deployment) is excruciating. One good thing is that she said she missed calls from him, so he should be ok at least. Though missed calls are just as excruciating as listening to the rumor mill. :( I will always keep soldiers in my prayers, especially those in harms way. I do really feel for that fiance cause she probably really dosnt know whats going on, its complicated enough as a military wife with years of experience you know. I am glad that as a veteran myself I have a greater understanding of what it is that my husband does. Prayers being said now...

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Being a military family I know the power of prayer will help you get through.

Thank you ladies so much. The word says, "the prayers of the righteous availeth much". It can do so much! She said he is physically OK, but really upset and emotionally distraught over what happened. It was a really close call.

Jess, yes when you are a military family sometimes all you have is prayer. But, that is really the best thing you can do!

Thank you all so much. I firmly believe, "Where two or more agree as touching anything on earth, God is there". Peace.
