Pattern question sold in MSQC Shop.. :)

    Hello ladies!

I'm probably asking this question in the wrong section, but was hoping someone could help me out.

I'm eyeballing this pattern from the MSQC shop, Newport Bag by Nancy Green

I'm just wondering if anyone has bought this pattern? If so, hope you don't mind me asking some questions about it.

Did you like making this purse?

Was it easy to understand or any confusing steps?

Did it come with a pattern, or did you have to do the measuring on your own?

Do you have a picture of your creations after making it? Could you post it?

I'm just asking all this because I've never made a purse before, and would like to make one. I've never messed with the fusible materials you need and all that, so that would definitely be new to me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

CJ, I've never done that pattern but have made many of my own 'design' if you can call it that. The only bag I have made from a pattern was a sewing bag that required 4 different fabrics. I made it several years ago and even though I've made plenty of clothes in the past and knew how to read recipes, I had to go over this one several times with each step so I didn't goof it up.

Watch out though - once you start making bags you will be totally hooked! (Well, maybe not quite as much as making quilts). Rhonda (RFREE) is our resident bag maker and I see that Marilyn is making a strong second place.
