    One more day at home

Mr D's blood count fell from 13 on thursday to 1.4 today. Anything under 1 and he is back in hospital. He goes for bloods again tomorrow and we expect him to stay in. We have been very grateful for these extra few days but are glad that the chemo is doing what its supposed to do and this drop was inevitable. We were just saying last night that the sooner it drops the sooner he will recover this count and we kinda wanted to get on with it lol.

The past few days have been a gift which we enjoyed so much but now he is getting very tired, is dozing with his cats on the sofa as we speak. So its time I think. Back to toing and froing for me but thats ok .

At least the two of you got a much deserved break from the treatment and the running around.

Mr. D will have enough cat hair on him that he shouldn't miss them for a few days.

Wish I could send you a whole boatload of strength to 'zoom' your way(s) through everything that is ahead of you! I can't believe how strong the two of you are together. Amazing people you are. No wonder we hold you both dear to our hearts.

I hope all goes well for him and that things perk up and he is able to come back home for a longer time after the next round of treatment. I am sure the cats will love that also.

I surely do not know how you do it. To be away from my husband overnight is horrible. When I was working we were together 24/7. (We both worked at the same place on the same shift; warehouse managers). Now when he goes off to work I miss him all day long. It's funny because when he's home, if I get out of sight for more than 10 minutes he comes looking for me & yes I'm always in my sewing room. Some ladies don't like that because they feel smothered but not me. I actually love it. I don't know how you both manage to be away from each other. You both are the strongest couple I have ever heard of. Prayers for both of you for strength. ((Hugs))
