I think it depends on what you order and sometimes they may have more orders than other times. Precuts mail pretty quickly, but yardage seems to take longer. I ordered the daily deal a couple of weeks ago and it shipped out very quickly.

Yardage is cut in the shop and if you order yardage from more than one shop, those orders have to be cut and united with the rest of your order back at the shipping building. So it depends on how many different things you ordered and how busy those shops are when trying to get your order cut and out the door to ship.
Precuts are at the warehouse and they can ship same day if that is all you ordered. I've gotten precuts within 24 hours, and yardage in about a week... depending on how busy they are. I don't know any shops that ship faster then M* at all... and I've ordered from them all.
I check the DD at 7pm sharp every night so I can get some sleep.

It doesn't come up until midnight here.
I normally receive my orders in two days, at the most three. Only once have I had a problem when I ordered three days in a row. the first order actually arrived after the second and third. No yardage just precuts.
A day in the life of a fabric order ...M* brings us along with them n their journey every step of the way. I've never shopped with such a personable company before. They're my LQS and BFFs (best fabric friends!), and I'm way out in California! They work so hard and are constantly growing the business, and yet never forget the customers.
