Apple Core Tutorial

The new apple core tutorial really helped make a seemingly difficult curve shape look possible. However, I went away with a big question. How was the outside border put on. Did you applique the core portion onto a solid piece of fabric or how does one cut and sew on a curvy border? Thanks so much.

That is a good question!! I think maybe I would use the template to create the wavy edge that fits the blocks.

Thats so neat! the middle part blocks remind me of old fashioned ladies with cinched waists. cool templates.
