    Default Loop Turner

I looked at a video on how to make a man's bow tie. In it, he used a loop turner to turn a thin tube (the strap of the bow tie) inside out. It was a strange looking device. When he sewed his tube, he sewed one end closed. To turn the tube inside out, he slid the tube onto one half of the device, closed the prongs against it, and then pushed the tube to the other side of the device. He could do that because of the closed end of the tube. I searched for one on the net, and found one at Nancy's Notions. Here is a link:

If you scroll down on that page there is a link to Fast Turn - I have those and absolutely love them. I have used them in so many projects it isn't even funny. One of the great investments I've made.

They are also great in turning your pieces on a cathedral window quilt, and shirt collars, and straps on tote bags and purses as well. I have one and love it.

Just loaned my Fast Turn Tube thingy to a friend, who is making bow ties, too. I love it and it is worth it's weight in gold!
