I looked at a video on how to make a man's bow tie. In it, he used a loop turner to turn a thin tube (the strap of the bow tie) inside out. It was a strange looking device. When he sewed his tube, he sewed one end closed. To turn the tube inside out, he slid the tube onto one half of the device, closed the prongs against it, and then pushed the tube to the other side of the device. He could do that because of the closed end of the tube. I searched for one on the net, and found one at Nancy's Notions. Here is a link:
