My happy moment is anytime sewing is involved. my best was giving a quilt I mad to my DD and she just hugged it so tight then hugged me. It was a priceless moment.
My happy moment is anytime sewing is involved. my best was giving a quilt I mad to my DD and she just hugged it so tight then hugged me. It was a priceless moment.

My first quilt - it was made for my then-5 yr old son, and he LOVED it! He slept with it every night, even when he was older. He lost it in Katrina, and I think still misses it. LOL! (Psst - he's 18 now. <G>)
My happiest moment was when I presented my GD Emily with a quilt that was made by the people on this site. Her eyes lit up and she loved how each person had made a block. She loved the block that Cathy R.'s DD(age 5) named Emily also, drew a penguin on the block. She was studying penguins in school and decided if they made her (an Emily) happy, they would make my Emily happy. My DGD, shows that block to everyone first. She tells them where each block was made and by whom. It just made her so happy that my quilting friends thought of her at this time when she is so very ill. It made her face glow. That's a really happy moment for me! Hugs, Jan L.
Home, where each lives for the others and all live for God! ><(((((o>
