3-2-1 Cake

Mix together the dry ingredients of a package of angel food cake mix and a package of any other flavor cake mix in a covered bowl or plastic storage bag. Then when you want a single serving of cake, mix together 3 level tablespoons of the mix and 2 tablesppons of water in a microwave safe bowl or cup. Microwave for 1 minute. Serve plain or with a dollop of whipped topping, or berries or chocolate syrup, etc.

This really works and is great when you don't want a whole cake sitting around to tempt you !

Sounds like fun too. When grandchildren come over, you'd always be able to let them make their own cake. Hmmm!

It's just the two of us and a cake gets stale before we finish it. This sounds like a winner to me.

My husband and I tried this and it's an okay substitute for shortcake. Just using yellow cake mix without the angel food works also. I think I liked the taste of that one best. My grandson likes to cook and he'll think this is neat!

I am glad it worked with just the yellow cake mix as the original instructions said the angel food cake mix was needed because it contains the eggs(dried) that you usually need in a cake. We also love it for berry shortcakes!

This is great! My friend and I are both on weight watchers and she was just telling me about this tonight! It is actually very weight watcher friendly

We have tried this with German chocolate and carrot....both are good and it takes the late evening sweet craving away.
