BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

I was very much under the weather before Christmas and not able to complete a couple of projects which were meant to be Christmas presents.

My friend came today to discuss her next project, a small quilt to drape across the back of a chair.

I am also teaching someone to quilt, I had this programmed as a little something on her last lesson before the holiday but she had to cancel, so I decided to make it for her. She is coming on Monday, I will give it to her then.


I had not been feeling much like sewing since I contracted bronchitis at the end of November, Feeling better this week, so spent 2 days sewing. I still have another runner and a round table topper to finish.

If you want the pattern let me know. The one I did is on a 12 1/2" background. The pieces are appliqued using bond a web onto the background, I then go round the whole thing using the applique stitch on my sewing machine to secure it, border it.and quilt before binding. I will post a photo of the original one I made some years ago which is larger.
