I'm so glad you are ok. You are one very lucky lady! I spun out probably 10 yrs ago on black ice and it happened so fast i was in the opposite ditch headed in the other direction, but like you I was very lucky and I didn't have a semi coming at me either. I still think about it almost every time I pass that stretch of road........ God Bless

How frightening...I'm not sure I would be able to get my legs to stop shaking long enough to get back on the road. So glad Molly wasn't with you as she would have for sure been tossed around.

Hope you aren't too sore today or tomorrow (day 2 always seems worse). How nice of the man to stop and make sure you were okay.

Praises that you are safe! How scary! Black ice is growing to be more of a problem around here each winter. The must have changed the road surfaces in the past few years. There is nothing you can do when you start sliding and spinning, but so glad to hear it all worked out okay for you!

Oh, so glad you weren't seriously injured. I have a 10# Pom named Toby who is 14 yo. He loves to ride in the car. He has this car seat so he can still see out the windows but is protected from flying around the car in a situation like yours. It has a place that you can connect their collar to that will keep them inside the seat. This picture of Toby was taken on Christmas day and his collar had already been disconnected. He has his Christmas jammies on as he wanted to show them to Grammie!

Thanks I think he is adorable! I adopted Toby from a rescue in March 2012. We have always had German Shepherds. While I was in school for Registered Vet Tech we took care of a 8 yo pom from the animal shelter. I tried to adopt him but someone beat me to him. I went on an internet quest looking for a senior male pom. I found Toby at a rescue 3 hours away from me. I.had to make the drive twice so I tell him he owes me 12 hours of pay. I would gladly make that trip again for him, He stole my heart the first time I met him!
