A-stashing we will go...

I ran over to the fabric store today and grabbed 20+ bolts of clearance fabric. By the time the gal started cutting, I realized that, even on clearance, I couldn't afford all of it, so I narrowed it down to 12. Most of them have a vintage look to them so they'll work well for the Farmer's Wife quilt that's up next (after I finish the three WIPs I have going now). I bought 1 1/2 yards of 10 and 2 yards 2 of them.

We have a new Walmart Supercenter opening the middle of August so our old Walmart is starting to mark down their fabric. They told me yesterday that they were going to mark it all down. Theres 2 fabrics I'm keeping my eyes on...hope they get it marked down soon.

I agree that they have a vintage look. They will make a wonderful quilt. I wish I would stubble upon a find like that.

When our WM was closing to move in to new super center they had a bunch of their fabrics for $1 yd. I bought 81 yds total. Minimum 2yd cuts of the many fabrics I picked out. Haven't even touched any of them yet, lol. So have fun.

I love stashing... just wish my wallet did too. Over this past year, I have managed to "find" some pretty special bargains. And they sit nicely amoung my growing stash.. I can't believe I ever c/o of being stash poor.

I have been told by my SO " no more fabric" so I have to sneak every once in a while.....they just don't understand, fabric is like a drug to quilters!!!

our local quilt shop is closing , so everything is 40% off - even with the discount I left almost $100 there.
This week is their last, so I'm thinking about one more trip..... {like I need more stash}
