Hi Stephanie!! I've got to look up where John Day Oregon is!! I love the Pacific NW!! Anywoo, I'm a self-taught quilter and I love it. I'm also a procrastinator and I love that too!! I have so much fabric and so many projects I want to do!! I really hope you like it here!! We're a crazy bunch of quilters from around the world!! Have fun!!

Thanks ladies.....Phoots John Day is in eastern oregonthe population here is less than 1500.....We have one stop light in the whole county lol......rush hour is when a cow crosses the road....it took some getting used to let me tell you i am from Tucson Arizona so it was a culture shock for sure making the move here...But i love it

Hello from John Day Oregon
.. My name is Stephanie I have been quilting since last september. A dear friend of mine brought in her quilt to work and I fell in love with it. To make a long story short she taught me the basics and off I went to the fabric store 4 hours away lol.....I am learning new things everyday. I am currently an administrator of an Assisted Living Facility (profile pic was from Gourgous grandma day, Residents dressed me.....I had no choice hahaha
) When I start a new project i have to bring it to work to show them my progress and boy are they teaching me a thing or two!!! I hope to learn from everyone here you all seem so helpful. I watch Jenny's tuts and there is so many projects i want to start.... I have posted pics in my profile, and I would love to see what everyone thinks. (Since I am new and all to Quilting). Thanks everyone for reading my first post.....Happy Quilting everyone!!!
