Ain't life grand!
Just appreciating life today. There are good things, and bad things, yes on Obamacare, no on Obamacare, people being born, people in their winter days, health is bad, health is good. But all in all, folksies, it is a good ride, wouldn't you say?
Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.

Well said Megan!! Last year I heard a fellow say "Any day you wake up without a lid on your bed is a good day." That sure put things in perspective!

absolutely!

If you don't know where you're going you'll probably end up somewhere else.

Very well put Megan. How true this is.
Blankets wrap you in warmth, quilts wrap you in love
A quilt is something you make to keep someone you love...WARM.....
What I make with my hands, I give of my heart.

Re: Ain't life grand!
Yes, life IS grand. My sister and I met early this morning and drove to Mary Jo's, which is a VERY large fabric store about 1 1/2 hours away from us. We spent a couple of hours (and more than a couple of dollars) shopping for beautiful fabrics for our projects. We ate a delicious lunch on the way home and enjoyed our time together. We had safe travel in a cool, air conditioned car on paved highways. We are VERY blessed in this life.
I pray when risen from the dead before the Lord I stand; perhaps a crown upon my head, but with a needle in my hand.

I've been trying to book tickets on the next flight to the moon. Orbitz won't talk to me so I'm searching for other outlets.
GIVE ME A SENSE OF HUMOR, LORD
GIVE ME THE GRACE TO SEE A JOKE
TO GET SOME HUMOR OUT OF LIFE
AND PASS IT ON TO OTHER FOLKS

We tried calling her Fred, but she tended not to answer.
Quilters aren't greedy, they're just materialistic.
