Wow Angie, thanks for the tip. I have just recently (since starting on the hosp quilts) started machine binding. I am definately going to have to get some of these. One little trick I do, is use a kind of deco stitch that doesn't show the mistakes nearly as bad. But..... if I could sew a straight line it would also help, lol.

Yes, I have bought multiple sizes at office supply stores, of 30, 40, 50, 100, for very little money. The large ones work great to hold layers together over the table's edge as I pin baste. The small ones hold binding neatly as I sew it on the quilt.

I use Steam-a-Seam lite 2 on my binding to hold it down on the other side after machine stitching it to the front. Press and go. Nothing moves, no clips to lose...it's how I bind now.

Zen, I have been using the 1/4" Lite Steam a Seam2 also and really love that method for machine binding. I was just watching a YouTube of Sharon Schambers using Elmers School Glue to glue down her binding and she has that process down to a T, but I think using the fusible web is less messy plus everything can be easily repositioned as needed before sewing. Any binding system that I don't need to use tons of pins for is wonderful!

I found a nice, big container of 50 wonder clips while on vacation! So excited to use them again!

I bet I would love those!

I have been using those plastic things that come with packaged men's shirts...the look like a clear bobbie pin, only smaller and with ridges...I like the curves and easy of use on your clips...

Thanks! I will be buying some to try out! btw--did you do the quilting on your quilt as well? I like it!
