    I love this idea-but I don't like it that the sides are open for a quilt-I would need to figure out how to sew those down

    Do you suppose these could be folded back in the center of each side sort of like a cathedral window? I think that it is like half of a 10 minute block.
    One of the prettiest quilts I have ever seen was done like the 10 minute block and then each "flap" was turned back and a small glass bead was hand sewn to the center. Not a very good explanation of a lovely quilt.
