Laughing is good exercise. It's like jogging on the inside.
"I will send the completed blocks (along with batting and backing fabric) to Klasien when I have received all of them. Let us strive for a mailing date of NO LATER THAN: July 20, 2012." - according to Sandy in the group instructions.
It looks like you'll be back in plenty of time Jean. I was making sure myself since I'm away from my machine until June 23, but can probably visit it long enough to make a block in time without having to pack it all up and bring it with me.
Quilters aren't greedy, they're just materialistic.

Count me in. Barb
Definately IN!
Let's hope this newbie can pull it off!
I'm in, too. Klaisen....a handsome man for sure. Such a beautiful smile. As someone already mentioned, his smile shows in his eyes, too. Love to you both.
Cynthia
Thank you, he has pretty eyes, and I give everything I have to see him smile like that again.
Today is a important day....the took a lot of blood and another bone marrow aspirate yesterday (monday).
Today the results will be in, so then we know the stage and the type of leukemia......tomorrow the doctors will start treatment.........
So I hope and pray the outcome is treatable!
I'm a little late in signing up, but I'm in! I wish I could say I have to go shopping for the fabric (who can say no to shopping for fabric?), but I LOVE Kansas Trouble fabrics and have a stash I can get into.
Klaisen, your brother will be thought of the entire time I make the block. You both are in my prayers.
When life throws you scraps, make a quilt!
Made my block yesterday and joined the group! I will be mailing it today. Klaisen, hope the support and prayers of quilting friends and family will make this a little easier for your family. Thanks for posting a picture of Douwe....I agree his smile shows in his eyes. He will be in my prayers today!
