    Default A Block for Douwe

    If you have been keeping up with recent posts you have learned that our friend Klasien (from the Netherlands) has recently been hit with the news of her brother, Douwe, being diagnosed with leukemia. Klasien is devastated and indicated she would like to make a quilt for her brother. Let us join together and help her out by showing her our support. Join the "A Quilt for Douwe" group and see the instructions posted there. One block from you is all that is required. A special note attached for Klasien would be very special, too!

    Lord, I just dont have anything in that colour pallete! I will have a look around before I commit. I want to join but my block might be glaringly off colour!

    Absolutely in, even if a trip to the fabric store is in order. Klasien is in my homeland, and is a wonderful cyber friend!
