I can finally post all the photos of this quilt start to finish now that it is done. This quilt is a pattern from the book Jelly Roll Magic by Kimberly Einmo. She called it Rainbow Lonestar. I named my quilt Rainbow Insomnia because I started it one night when I woke up at 1AM and couldn't sleep. I ended up working on it until 6AM when I had to get ready for work.

This was done using a Robert Kaufman Brights jelly roll and Moda Black fabric. I'm thinking of entering it into a show in November.





















I quilted it using Aurifil monofiliment thread for the colored areas and in the black background areas I used Aurifil 28 wt. thread and stitched out the designs using my embroidery machine and a fun quilting pattern that I liked.
