    Default My Friendship Braid quilt

I just wanted to share my Friendship Braid quilt that I finished in February and a fabric basket that I finished this week. The basket is made from scraps and was easy and fun to do.
The pics should be clickable for a bigger view, it takes you to my photobucket album.

So far I have finished a UFO every month this year! I am hoping that I can keep that up, but there are so many quilts I
want and need to start and some of my UFO's just aren't 'in me' to finish up right now.

    Thanks for looking!

Both are pretty and colorful. Love the border on the quilt.

Both are beautiful. The colors in your quilt are lovely and I like that pattern so much that I just added it to my long list of future projects!

Your quilt really looks nice! I like the soft colors that you have in it, and the basket is darling. : )

Thank You all for the compliments, I appreciate them all! Shirley, I love the border too! It isn't from the fabric line, but I thought it coordinated perfectly, and who doesn't love polka dots! LOL
Jean and Tamsterg, the friendship braid is so cute and fun to do, I want to do another one! Daisy, I am loving finishing up these UFO's, but now I want to start a new quilt and I think that's what is going to happen.
Jenna, the tutorial for the fabric basket is here http://ayumills.blogspot.com/2008/05...ic-basket.html
this is a pretty small one, the written instructions for a larger one (like mine pictured) are under her FAQ's button at the top of her page, right under her blog name. Scroll down about 1/2 the page and the bigger sizes are there. It has it's own topic header. I did add a covered piece of cardboard to the bottom, just like Jenny puts in her tote bags, and love the way that made it stand up tall!
It is a great scrap buster project, mine is ALL scraps. I didn't have linen at the time, but I did have some brushed cotton that is heavier than linen and it worked perfectly. This is my 3rd one finished, and I have another one in pieces....hmmm, DAISY I just remembered ANOTHER UFO!!
Have fun with it and show us some pics!
