Default And I thought I was a genius!

Hi Today I woke up thinking I could modify Jenny's heart block into a shamrock for St. Patrick's Day. I played around with it and sure enough, came up with a pretty cute shamrock block. After reaching back several times to try to pat myself on the back for being such a genius, I googled "Shamrock Quiilt Block" and found my genius idea had already been invented and shared, and is a lot fancier than mine. But the ones I made are cute, simple and got me in the mood for next month's St. Patty's Day! Quilt top for March is made, needs sashing and backing, quilting and binding--whew, thank heaven I have almost 2 more weeks before March starts!

See my blog www.soooowht.blogspot.com for pictures and directions if you want to make a simple shamrock. I posted a link in my blog to the other website where I found a much more complicated shamrock, with some really great directions and diagrams.

Genius status--fail! Just re-invented the wheel!

I love reinventing the wheel. Seems I do that quite frequently. Great block you have created there!!
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Haha, isn't that how life usually goes?

    Your blocks look great!
