Default OK Sandy, here she is in MY house...

She's a beauty for sure - great condition.
I'm still working out the kinks - not sure why, but the top thread is getting all bunched up on the underside of the fabric when I sew with her. The bobbin feels really tight when I pull it, so it may be the bobbin tension. I'll keep playing with it. Very clean machine

What a great find. So glad you got her. Sew in good health. I am sure Sandy and others can help you with the "tweeking" you need.

That is a very pretty machine. Maybe if you play some nice classical music for her, like Mozart, she will behave better! The gold pattern on the machine looks pristine. Maybe wasn't used much. Have fun with your new toy.

I took the bobbin case apart & cleaned the lint out -- really helped with this problem. Just be careful not to lose the tiny, tiny, little screw that holds it together. Or you could just buy a new bobbin case ....

Claire hit the nail on the head. Also, often the tension may have been messed with and put together wrong. Tweak a little bit and keep trying. You'll get her to sing. And if that doesn't work then I think Leah, Claire and I may just have to come up there and swipe her from you . . . I mean fix her for you.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Beautiful machine. Ladies, I think I play date for our girls is in order.
Does she have a name yet?

(you simply must give her a name!)

I have found Molly needs adjustments from one thread to another and when I was sewing the other night that was happening to me too, even though she had been sewing perfectly a few days prior. I scrutinized my top threading (my downloaded manual is NOT clear at all) and made a minor tweak in placement.
    All fixed.

Make sure the needle is in the correct way. On some of the older singers the threading goes from right to left.
