Two memoryquilts finished, a tote and update on my life......
As you can tell by the title I have been very busy again.......I have to :(
Jan is still not able to find a job, life is getting hard and I am working almost day and night to keep it all together.
I do feel very depressed from time to time and since a few months I have bursitis in my right arm and in a lot of pain....the docter told me to take a long periode of rest to get healed, but since I need to work to make some money I can't take a periode of rest......I work my salon 3 days a week and the 5 that are left I am working on memoryquilt, be a mom etc etc..........:( (and I start to feel the same pain in my left arm....)
Anyway, the quilts I have finished are pretty good size quilts, made from a young mens clothes, he past away when he was 25 and those are for his sisters, he was a great tennis player and that is why I hang the quilt on a tennis court net.....the other is for his sister that has a 3 year old, she wanted the quilt to be very child friendly so I went to the playground to take the picture. I love both quilts, now I have to make one more for the third sister.
The tote bag is for a friend of my parents, her husband is going through chemo and she needs to go to the hospital every day, I made her this tote so she can bring some food or reading stuff with her. Hope she likes it.
Well my friends, this is how my life is going right now, not very much happy news, but I am doing the best I can to hang in there!!!
Hope I can post some pictures today, sometimes it is hard to post from the good old iPad........

They turned out great. I am sure that the recipients will be thrilled with them. The tote looks very professional. Hoping that Jan will soon find a permanent position so you can rest your arm!

Dear Sandy, it is my elbow not my sholder, so you can squeez as hard as you want ;)
Thanks all my friends, your sweet and loving words mean the world to me!!!

Klasien, your quilts are beautiful, and I like the bag very much. Hope things will get better soon for you and Jan.
