I loved the tutorial on the Bear Paws quilt. Since I have grandchildren from Alaska, I thought it would be fun to make a quilt with bear paws on it. This is what I came up with! It's also my first attempt at free motion quilting on my home machine. I did circles in the bear paws to represent the pads on the bottoms! Also I appliqued a bear down in the right corner of the quilt ... just for a bit of fun!

Sew pretty. Lovely colors and great quilting. The appliqued bear is a wonderful bonus.

Very cute, and the circles for pads was a great idea. I am sure the kiddo's are going to love it!

    Beautiful quilt! Great work!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
