Love these Jen. Was the RVing a panel? I saw a Craftsy course where you can do landscapes and that was very tempting to take

What are the sizes of the little squares in your Irish Chain?

Carlie the RV is a panel that I ordered from spoonflower.com....it actually was a repeat pattern of about 20 repeats per yard, but I only wanted one repeat at one yard.... so I contacted the artist of the design and she redid the design for me with only one repeat...I was sooo happy because this design is perfect for the person it is going to.

My Irish chain squares are 9" which makes the little squares 3"..........I used strip piecing to cut and assemble them....I hate the tedious work of working with small pieces so if there is a way to make it faster I use it.

I really need to try spoonflower. What did it cost you do do that yard? I'm thinking I'd like to send them a photo of "Gage" who was the boxer my friend lost just recently. Maybe make something for Christmas.

That's a good idea about the irish chains. I don't remember if I did that with my smaller ones but I think I did. I seem to recall I started the other way and immediately thought that was for the birds then didn't try again for about six months when I then strip pieced it.
