It looks so nice and now it will be so much easier when you need a certain fabric to find it.

Another tip......write the amount of yardage on the cardboard with an acid free pen........makes it easier to know if you have enough for a certain project.
Where do you get the boards?
I too bought mine on Amazon....
Glad i'm not the only gal that used over 300...
Now i'm having fun seeing the pile of EMPTY ones from all the quilts i've been making....)
So much fun when you can just pull colors..

Oh good idea to write the yardage on the board too. I didn't think of that one. This makes it so much easier and fun to shop your stash. When I go to my sisters she gets tired pretty quick of pulling from her stacks they seem to fall over way to easy.
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
This looks so good! My fabric is organized but not wrapped on boards. I am finding it hard to imagine how/why wrapping them causes them to take up less room than just neatly folding up your ydg. Am I missing something??
As for it taking less room I put mine up like books on the comic boards and was able to fit all the fabric from two shelves into one. I was surprised but you wrap it fairly snug on the board. I know have twice the fabric on my shelves then what I used to.

Wow my dh thinks I have a big stash now ,I need to have him read this so I don't get any more looks if I buy more fabric. Thanks for sharing I don't have much yardage yet, mostly pre cuts.

You can also try using your ruler to wrap the fabric then fold it like M* does. I did that with mine, and like Altairss did, I pry had close to twice as much on a shelf.
