Oh I love your quilt. I especially like the bound edges. Have heard of them, but this is the first time I've seen it. How big is your quilt and how big were your squares before stitching them together?
She'll love it!
What an adorable quilt! Nothing beats a quilt made by grandmom. She will rest and sleep wrapped in warmth and love.
Those colors are sooo pretty... Your granddaughter is going to love her new quilt...
OOH! I think that is very pretty, perfect for a little miss
This screams cozy! Your granddaughter will love it! I love it!
Terri
How pretty is that! She did a wonderful job and I think you have a guilt buddy in your future!
That is so pretty!
Did you use any batting in the squares? I made one of these a few year back and the pattern called for batting. Wasn't happy with the way it turned out. Love the look of yours. Would love to make one for my granddaughter if I could make it work. Any suggestions would be helpful.
This is just so pretty. I love it and I'm sure your granddaughter will as well.
Very pretty.
Granny Fran, I used 3 charm packs. They are 5 inches square each. The quilt ended up being a snuggle quilt....it is about 40 inches by 48. With the binding it is probably 41 x 49.
She is gonna love snuggling with this.
Even with the edges bound that is a lot of snipping! My fingers hurt just looking at the fluffy edges! But she will love it and you should be proud.
That's a quilt that will be well loved. Esp. Because Grandmother made it. Love it.
I love your rag quilt! The dark purple from the back frames the front blocks nicely!
Nicely done! She will love snuggling with it!
Very cheery girly colors! I like how the purple shows in the ragging. I'm sure she will love it to cuddle with.
Love it! So cute :)
