    Granny Fran, I used 3 charm packs. They are 5 inches square each. The quilt ended up being a snuggle quilt....it is about 40 inches by 48. With the binding it is probably 41 x 49.

    I did use a white flannel square for batting. I had three layers....the cotton square, the white flannel middle and the purple flannel back. They were all 5 inches square. I hope that helps.

    Even with the edges bound that is a lot of snipping! My fingers hurt just looking at the fluffy edges! But she will love it and you should be proud.

    Very cheery girly colors! I like how the purple shows in the ragging. I'm sure she will love it to cuddle with.
