    This is so pretty but I confess red is one of my favorite colors! And the only person who honestly would not like it is somebody who hates red. If that is possible.

    Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I realized the other day that I have avoided making many quilts in my favorite colors because I know that they aren't everyone's favorites, and I give most of them away. That is going to change--people will have to learn to embrace the reds!

    Folks could go along with you to the fabric store to pick out quilt fabric , if they want one. Or these days they can even look online. Thanksgiving is coming up and the discounts are Jo-Ann's are substantial then. Or you could buy the fabrics gradually with good coupons over time. You could make that same pattern in whatever they want.

    I love it but there's no accounting for other's people tastes...I would run it past them first. Just my opinion; feel free to ignore it!
