Default My first One Block Wonder Tablerunner & Placemats

Here is the long story made as short as possible, so it may be confusing. So I bought with wonderful floral fabric (multicolor bouquet on a black background) while taking a OBW class. My Dad had recently become engaged and happened to be at my house when I got home from the class so I showed him some of my blocks. He asked me to make him and Prue (his wife) a table runner and place mats as a wedding gift in a black and white fabric. My first One Block Wonder Tablerunner & Placemats-wedding-gift.jpg

Roxi - I love this technique. My sister is working on a OBW now and I did try it but wasn't impressed with my fabric (I just used a huge piece I had here in my stash). This block works so much better when it is something you've picked for the effect and colors you need.

Fantastic job - Prue and your father should be most pleased. And you should be proud. Wonderful!!
