Default Stack and Whack Quilt Tutorial: A Christmas Finish!

Inspired by Jenny's tutorial, I made a similar throw-size quilt for the holidays...

I did medium loop quilting in the center, with small loops in the sashing...

...and larger loops in the border.

The quilt is now ready to be snuggled underneath all it's crinkly goodness!

    Ho, ho, ho!
You know you've had too much coffee when you can thread a sewing machine while it's running.

That is really pretty! Wow, I don't need one more wonderful picture to inspire me to make another style quilt before Christmas! This is definitely on my list. Lovely job of FMQing! Who is the lucky recipient?

    Beautieful! It looks very cosy!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
