    Thank you everyone for such nice comments!
    I used a layer cake and a jelly roll for this one. Cut the layer cake in 4" and 6" pieces, inserted a 10" contrasting jelly roll strip, then attached another jelly roll strip horizontal on the top. Went together real quick and took me 3 hours to machine quilt.
    I got the idea from a tutorial on here. I think Natalie did it but I am not sure I followed it exactly. Playing it by ear is my speciality!

    Nice job and looking so perfect!
    Love the layout also and especially the way you quilted the blocks, bringing out the straight lines.

    Patti - yours is wonderful so pretty !! she will LOVE it!!

    i used the same tutorial, some stash fabrics and came up with this scrappy jelly cake ... very quick and super easy!

    Good job Patti and Suzi too! Both quilts are adorable as our Jenny would say. LOL I love the colors on both of them. You girls are a whiz! Anyone would love to have one of those quilts for Christmas or they are crazy!
