LOL! I guess I will have to check in and see how many are in her "collection" right now. Perhaps we will have to keep a weekly tally?

If you have a vintage sewing machine that is missing a part (say, the bobbin winder) and you end up buying another complete one of the same model because it costs you the same than having just that part sent from a different country, are you a hoarder or a collector? (Not that I know anybody that has done that ).

Sooo two handcranks, a treadle, a mechanical basic sewing machine and a computerized...

I'm off tomorrow, yayyy! Going to iron my brokendishes blocks and square them up, and maybe start assembling them. And maybe put sashing to the little monkey blocks and assemble them. Or both. Or FMQ the blue 4P baby quilt. I wish I wasn't working on sunday, there is so much I could sew!

Got two backs put together just needed to piece two lengths together to be wide enough so now have the baby quatrefoil and the Spiral HST quilt all basted and set to be quilted. Even made up sample sandwiches of the same fabrics to get me tension set when I sit down to work on this.

Then Got the batting all laid out for the chevron and the two color weave. I have picked out the material for the pieced backing for the weave. Using up all the left overs squares to make the one larger piece of fabric I have left to make it big enough for the back. Still no idea what to do for the chevron. Nothing is saying me me me for that one. I think I will be totally out of batting then and will need to go gasp to Joann's for more then I can do my lap quilt.

Dang if I actually get all that done I will be almost caught up... for about two minutes ROFL

Sandy, the sewing kit is gorgeous thank you! I will be able to hand sew in style!!!

Finished the M* table top, will post pics tomorrow when there's better light.
    Sewed 8 snowballs.
Going to play some online game, visit with the big girls when they get here and probably an early night.

Sophie is in this super clingy stage 24hr a day and it's gotten really old... as in exhausting.

lourixe..........Maybe you and Sonic should think of it as Sewing Machine Rescue..........finding old machines a loving home.

This just may be the way to save her from her apparently growing addiction.

    Haha........best laughs of the day!!

I can see it now..........the camera scans Sonic's house.........counter tops littered with a sad array of old sewing machine parts......we hear the sounds of a woman muttering to herself.............I'm not a hoarder.......what do they know...... Sara Mclaughlins voice singing in the background.........the announces voice......"This week on Hoarder's........"
