Ya know, after a very hard day, WIP sure makes things just,..................well better! I'm too tired to write a big post, but want y'all to know how much I enjoy everyone's posts. The work that's put out here is some of the prettiest stuff, and a great inspiration. And the "crazies", well, they are worth their weight in gold. Laughter truly is the best medicine. OH.....................

............and my "smelly crate" arrived today!!! Full dress up pictures to follow! Bestie and I are already conspiring on the "Ode to Cathy"

Cathy, it was not only received in great shape, but oh my I needed that laugh this evening!

The fabric behind it, is some of the "play time" on the frame.

A truly good friend would have shared her Oreo's with her forum friends.........

No sewing for me again tonight, but I did get the machine unpacked and projects laid out that I had taken with me this weekend (and didn't work on). Loving all of the projects shared. Lots of WIPs in my sewing room, but sometimes other things have to come first.

Instead, went to my sis' for supper and played with the kids (lots of hugs and giggles) and loaded 150 bricks into the back of our truck, still need to unload them at our house and 3-4 more loads to go. They took out a walkway and partial patio that were buckling like crazyy and weren't needed in their yard, so now they will sit in a pile in our yard for awhile. Hoping to use them to go under the fence and along the edge of the shed to help keep the weeds at bay.....

Keep up the great work and the squirrelin'

Yay! I made more progress tonight. I will actually appear to be caught up for my BOM tomorrow night. (Shhhh! Don't tell them I haven't even really started my sashing blocks.)

Here's the latest Plain & Fancy.

Jo, love the blocks you are doing.. but that is a lot of pieces for each one. I'm not sure I could have the patience's to make one, let alone 12.

Lisa... I thought the bricks were gathered so you could throw them around the yard.. didn't think about stopping weeds. I use round-up for my weeds. Nothing like a little brown to contrast with the green.. Son in law likes my methods tho. He doesn't have to grab the week eater with every mow.

Putting together table runners using the binding tool star pattern. They look great so far. Gotta do the sitd on them. Nothing fancy from this gal. Just plain N simple. But first it's clean up and sort thru time. The old filing cabinet is ready to hold the over flow.. Top drawer for charm packs and layer cakes. Middle drawer for Fat quarters. Bottom drawer, patterns and mags with "to do" items. The right side is shelves and there goes my Jelly rolls. Yup, I have lots of those!! (OK, so I can't pass up the DD)

It's perfect weather right now for cleaning out flower beds and getting ready for the Frost on the Pumpkin days. I'm ready for the change in weather.. Just not ready for the really cold days. Hopefully I'll have time to finish a really warm cozy quilt for me this year.....
