Good job on the pebbles I have yet to try those and love the borders it really makes that come together and Josephine love the new block! Today work and a retirement party for someone in DH work but hope to sit down and get some quilts sandwiched. Only one has a plan for backing so the other three I need to get a bit creative with. Been looking at pics of creative backs. I am trying to use what I have before buying more stuff. Cause I got a whole lota stuff already
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

You can go into your profile and change how many posts show up on a page and cut that down to one page of reading real easy. Same number of posts, but fewer pages 'cuz there will be more posts on a page. Wallah!!

:hiding under my quilt: .... I only have one WIP.

I'm sorry, I'm also so darn tired between work and kids that I can hardly function. Will you forgive me and let me hang out here where it is friendly and motivating??

    Hi everyone!
I have been keeping up with all you squirrels even though I haven't had anything to post about.
I did finish up a binding star baby blanket for a friend. I don't know why, but I was really procrastinating on it. The fabric is dragons on the front and ninjas on the back, for a little guy's first Bday. Everyone loved it!

We had a wicked hail storm a few nights ago. The hail was golf ball sized and we have damage to vehicles and our house. It was one of the worst storms I have been in, with the hail just hammering the house - it was freaky!!

I have several WIP tops that need to be sandwiched and quilted, but I think I'll start another top first. I haven't pieced in a few weeks!

    Beautiful work done by everyone!
    Mary

I guess it is because of other things, like WORK, and FAMILY, and CHILDREN! Please hang out as much as you want. But be sure to get your rest as well. You will have plenty of time for quilting after WORK, and FAMILY, and CHILDREN.

Lou, work, family & children are good stress, but they do keep a person busy. Enjoy them while you have them.

PS nice work, Sylvia and Josephine. I'm always a sucker for a star block, Josephine.

I'm also partial to a bit of blanket stitch. So folksy & homey, and fun to do. Appliqué is coming along. wip 9/8/15 Just a spoon full of projects!-image.jpg
