Re: wip 9/8/15 Just a spoon full of projects!
Good job on the pebbles I have yet to try those and love the borders it really makes that come together and Josephine love the new block! Today work and a retirement party for someone in DH work but hope to sit down and get some quilts sandwiched. Only one has a plan for backing so the other three I need to get a bit creative with. Been looking at pics of creative backs. I am trying to use what I have before buying more stuff. Cause I got a whole lota stuff already ;)

Glad to see I'm not the only one with too many WIPs. Going to do a little more appliqué and calm my nerves before sleep time. The day was a little too long for me here.
You can go into your profile and change how many posts show up on a page and cut that down to one page of reading real easy. Same number of posts, but fewer pages 'cuz there will be more posts on a page. Wallah!!

:hiding under my quilt: .... I only have one WIP.
I'm sorry, I'm also so darn tired between work and kids that I can hardly function. Will you forgive me and let me hang out here where it is friendly and motivating??
Re: wip 9/8/15 Just a spoon full of projects!
of course Lou!! I hope you can get some rest soon. There just isn't enough hours for sleep at night!

Hi everyone!
I have been keeping up with all you squirrels :D even though I haven't had anything to post about.
I did finish up a binding star baby blanket for a friend. I don't know why, but I was really procrastinating on it. The fabric is dragons on the front and ninjas on the back, for a little guy's first Bday. Everyone loved it!

We had a wicked hail storm a few nights ago. The hail was golf ball sized and we have damage to vehicles and our house. It was one of the worst storms I have been in, with the hail just hammering the house - it was freaky!!

I have several WIP tops that need to be sandwiched and quilted, but I think I'll start another top first. I haven't pieced in a few weeks!
Beautiful work done by everyone!

I guess it is because of other things, like WORK, and FAMILY, and CHILDREN! Please hang out as much as you want. But be sure to get your rest as well. You will have plenty of time for quilting after WORK, and FAMILY, and CHILDREN.

Lou, work, family & children are good stress, but they do keep a person busy. Enjoy them while you have them.

PS nice work, Sylvia and Josephine. I'm always a sucker for a star block, Josephine.
I'm also partial to a bit of blanket stitch. So folksy & homey, and fun to do. Appliqué is coming along. Attachment 117657

Ya know, after a very hard day, WIP sure makes things just,..................well better! I'm too tired to write a big post, but want y'all to know how much I enjoy everyone's posts. The work that's put out here is some of the prettiest stuff, and a great inspiration. And the "crazies", well, they are worth their weight in gold. Laughter truly is the best medicine. OH.....................
............and my "smelly crate" arrived today!!! Full dress up pictures to follow! Bestie and I are already conspiring on the "Ode to Cathy"
Cathy, it was not only received in great shape, but oh my I needed that laugh this evening!

The fabric behind it, is some of the "play time" on the frame.

And here I was thinking, "Hmmmmm.....she likes Oreos.......wonder how many it'd take to get her to use the awesome new longarm to finish a quilt for me." :P
Re: wip 9/8/15 Just a spoon full of projects!
No sewing for me again tonight, but I did get the machine unpacked and projects laid out that I had taken with me this weekend (and didn't work on). Loving all of the projects shared. Lots of WIPs in my sewing room, but sometimes other things have to come first.
Instead, went to my sis' for supper and played with the kids (lots of hugs and giggles) and loaded 150 bricks into the back of our truck, still need to unload them at our house and 3-4 more loads to go. They took out a walkway and partial patio that were buckling like crazyy and weren't needed in their yard, so now they will sit in a pile in our yard for awhile. Hoping to use them to go under the fence and along the edge of the shed to help keep the weeds at bay.....
Keep up the great work and the squirrelin'

Yay! I made more progress tonight. I will actually appear to be caught up for my BOM tomorrow night. :icon_tape: (Shhhh! Don't tell them I haven't even really started my sashing blocks.)
