You did a wonderful job! Just like in the quilt.
The block went into my king quilt, and I have an album showing the whole quilt that you can see.
I haven't been sewing of late. This past week, we had my step-daughter visiting for a week, and before that, it was working outside. I need to get back to sewing.
Welcome from Texas! You will see some beautiful quilts here that are sure to inspire you to make more.
Welcome to the forum from Texas!
Welcome from central Texas, 50 miles southeast of Austin.

I always think I have seen it all, and then comes along something I have never seen! These pinwheels are so cute. I am sure your table runner will be amazing.
Oooooh! That is so pretty!
Hello from central Texas! Welcome to the forum.
I might just try this. It looks wonderful.
My credit card was hacked, and when I talked to the bank, I asked if they were going to prosecute them. They said no. So, why not steal when there is no chance of getting punished. Of course,...
We have gotten our new used pop up camper all ready to go, and I am looking forward to it. We can't go next week because we have someone visiting, but plan on going the week after. Funny you are...
I make all my HSTs with the June Taylor ruler. They come out perfect every time. There is a 6.5 inch limit for the ruler, though.
Funny stories about the cows! We live in the country and, although we don't have cows, we are surrounded by them. Sometimes my cousin puts his cows on our place to graze. I'm not scared of them,...
I am going to try that pie thing with the bread. I saw on line a cast iron square sandwich maker that you put on the coals, and this would be perfect for it!
Welcome from Giddings, TX! It was 95 today. What is so strange is that we had the coolest Spring on record with it in the 40s and 50s just a couple of weeks ago. Yes, we need rain. Send it this...
For a long time, I didn't want to piece a border. Now, I routinely do it using the miter method. You really can't notice the piecing. I, too, love my June Tailor ruler.
We ate at The Taste of Texas on I-10. It is my favorite restaurant. I was born in Houston at St. Joseph downtown, and lived there for 56 years until we retired and moved just outside of Giddings. ...
I voted again. Keep this post on top.
It is truly beautiful! I meander on all my quilts, so I am not one to give advice on how to quilt it. Whatever you do, it will be a masterpiece!
I wouldn't quilt it anymore than you have done already. It turned out nice the way you did it. Good job!
I have to make me one of those falling charm quilts! I love both your quilt. When I saw the pinwheel quilt, it took my breath away. Good job!
Mother's Day, we drove to Houston to go out to eat with my daughter. Not long after leaving the restaurant, we had car trouble. Of course, nothing was open that day. My daughter rescued us, we...
I voted just now, too. I loved your Dresden block!
