Default Re: question as to securing sts on a Singer Curvy?

When you finish your quilting line you don't have to bring up your bobbin thread, just reduce your stitch length when you get to about 1/4" to where you want to stop. Take those stitches then backstich again, and for extra security come forward again. At this point, just cut your threads as usual.

A little tip, if you're doing SITD around a block, start by bringing up the bobbin thread, take little stitches but dont backstitch because when you come around the block you will come back over your starting point. Reduce your stitches over these and backstrack a little bit. If you over backtrack you'll have a build up of thread.
