need opinions really quick

I know that these are not the best pics, I'm useing this fabric as a top and bottom sunrise/sunset border.I would like to use it like the one on the right so that i get more of the suns. Is it to directional so that it will look "off"? let me know asap.

Do you have enough of the fabric that you can use the horizontal on the horizontal borders and the vertical on the vertical borders? Works for me . . . Or, get real creative and decide you don't need it to look so sunrise/sunset and cut it for binding on the bias?

UPDATE: i went ahead with the use in my quilt you can see the result in my post "the quilt EVERYONE helped with.... I will say this quilt top wore me down..
