I just found out I don't have to go to town for parts and so I came in and loaded a picture to go with my question. I am thinking sashing to keep the line between little and big bowties nice and straight.

Yes! I agree! Are bowties fun to make?
Lots of fun. I even used the snowball triangles to make up some mini 3" pinwheels. Put then away to keep adding to the box.
I agree you should separate them with a border but I would probaby do white. The blue border causes the bowties in the border to lose their definition. Try auditioning white and see what you think.
I agree, too. I love that border for the bowtie pattern. Nice job!
Very pretty...you are doing a great job! have a great day! Carol
I agree with the sashing and the it needs to be a different color. If you want to use blue, I would go with a solid blue.
I think that would look really nice. That way the little ties will look as important as the large ones. :)
Yep, I vote for white too.
I am fond of black. . .
If you want to use blue that is good, but using the same fabric causes the bow ties to get lost. Just my opinion. Love the blocks by the way.
